Finberg in 1995 in Boulder, Colorado on the foundation of 7 years experience in Washington, DC as a CPA in the National Tax Office of a major international accounting firm and 5 years experience in sophisticated real estate and other commercial transactions with a large international law firm. Matthew’s dedication to combining his big city/large firm legal skills and business and accounting acumen with small town common sense appeals to individuals and businesses alike, and has enabled him to build and maintain a diverse and loyal client base.

He is committed to a personalized approach to practicing law, providing clients with legal counsel they can count on from an attorney who understands their personal objectives and businesses, listens to their concerns, and promptly responds with results. Matthew has over 35 years experience working with individuals and businesses on real estate acquisitions, financings, leases, sales, and exchanges. As general counsel to one of the largest real estate brokerage offices in Colorado, he has had the opportunity to guide brokers, buyers, and sellers through a wide variety of residential purchase and sale issues with respect to new construction and existing homes. Matthew regulary counsels, drafts, and negotiates in the commercial and industrial worlds as well, representing buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants. His additional focuses on business formation, commercial transactions, and estate and asset protection planning enable him to bring a fully integrated approach to transactions. Clients also rely on Finberg Law for advice, guidance, and drafting of organizational documents in connection with the formation of non-profit entities and their formal recognition by the IRS of exemption from tax.
